What would it be like to create work with a one year old child?

I do not have children (but have watched my three younger siblings develop as humans from a young age). Over the course of two months, every Wednesday I would see Jane, my young friend who was born in February 2021. During this time I began collaborating with Jane, slowly teaching her how to use the digital drawings tools I use for my illustration practice. I observed how her skill grew each week. I would collaborate by choosing colours and brushes while she chose the marks to make. It was important to me to consider Jane a collaborator and to build a relationship through these collaborations that recognized her humanity and what she would bring to each piece.
